Manchester United may finish the January transfer window without signing a new striker, though Bayern Munich’s Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting has emerged as a potential option should the club decide to strengthen their attacking lineup, according to information from 90min.
Manager Erik ten Hag is reportedly eager to add more firepower to the squad, but United’s main focus this winter remains on player departures. Any major incoming transfers could be difficult to complete unless Anthony Martial leaves the club.
Back in November, United explored the idea of signing Timo Werner but never made a concrete move. Werner has since joined Tottenham Hotspur on loan from RB Leipzig, casting further doubt on United’s initial interest.
